Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge of Trimble GPS Systems, including the use of rovers and downloading files.
• Operate all heavy construction equipment, including dozers, track hoes, and graders, with expertise.
• Identify various soil types and determine the best uses for each.
• Manage the finish process after pipe installation is complete.
• Exhibit thorough knowledge and skill in grading and finish work while providing hands-on supervision and effective leadership.
• Read and interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Provide complete supervision and take responsibility for job site field operations.
• Proactively plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities, including the scheduling of trucks, equipment, and personnel.
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations for the placement of structures or equipment.
• Maintain a consistently high level of work quality.
• Identify problems and provide timely, effective solutions.
• Train and develop crew members as necessary to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Foster positive working relationships with Technicians, Crew Members, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other team members.
• Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations while performing job duties.
• Represent and promote Garrett Contracting in a professional and honest manner.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Must pass a drug test.
